Somebody mentioned helmet laws and I say, screw helmet laws. When I was a kid, nobody wore helmets or body pads while riding bikes or skateboards. When you fell off, you cried, got peroxide and band-aids and went your merry way like nothing happened. 

I do feel for Scutealoo here, but she is a cartoon so there will be pain but no lasting wounds. Besides, a helmet wouldn't do much from any considerable height.

This makes me really sad ;~;
I recall that happening to me down a hill on my bike when my front tire twisted left and my handlebars went right when my bag holding my binder slipped. ><
If you ever seen Strider in those old genesis or arcade games do that jump and slide, yeah I did that and the rolls. Very very painful. Some nice college dudes came to my aide parking their car on the road to make sure I was okay.
