How kind of you to say so.
As for influences, I suppose nature and light and human perception, in the larger sense.
On the artistic side: Flemish and Dutch painting (Van Eyck, Vermeer), traditional Chinese landscape painting, Escher (of course), Margitte, Frank Lloyd Wright, Shigeo Fukuda, Takashi Murakami (to name a few).
Also, I'm still taken with the spirit of good old 70s/80s progressive rock, which is usually the soundtrack in my head while I'm working on this stuff.
Thanks for asking, I hadn't thought about that in a while.

Oh yeah, Van Eyck and Vermeer are cool cats, I'll have to check out Flemsih. Escher was my initial inspiration to draw too.
