Absolutely , Armando Gil and Joe Jusko were the reasons I'd buy SSOC , his art has always resonated in me.These were just the base colors so far . I have to add seperation with the main character and the body pile and highlights still to this but it's getting there..the PSD is probably like 50mb at this point lol.I unfortunately don't know how to link someones profile like you did.I'm glad you like the colors so far!Thank you.

Oh wow...yes his art was very influential in my life...I can remember collecting SSOC issue after issue..only to thumb through to find his pinups..I would then examine them for hours sometimes and try to re-draw them tirelessly night after night , issue after issue.I have many fond memories of trying to recreate some of his art on massive poster boards.I find it funny that some artists don't realize the impact their creations can have on people..he allowed me many nights of escapism and provided me with the drive to excel at my drawing skills..if only to emulate his style sometimes..I am very happy to meet you.

Oh wow! I showed him you progress, he went "Wow, that's really good!" So he likes it. And he said he went to high school with Joe as well? I didn't know that, how coincidental!
That's great that he really gave you all that drive, and now you have this wonderful talent. ^.^ Happy to meet you too!
For my growing up artistically, part of what was doing what I wanted, even if my dad didn't really approve, or me asking for his help. lol. I do remember having art be around a lot in my early life, seeing him working on storyboards all day, or inking these big comic pages all night (he loved doing things last minute haha), art was around around, so I always drew. And he pushed and motivated me to draw more. So I guess he did that for both of us in different ways. ^.^
