basically this is a color version of that other cover thing i submitted, and focusing on Ed. i put in one of the things he said in chapterrrrrrr... 34 or 35 i believe? i thought it was a good quote to grab since it goes so heavily with the overall theme and mood of the actual story.well anyway. there it is~ pretty, no?

Suits him. One of the reasons I love this character concept is that he got so damn pragmatic about life and death when it comes to this. As long as you live you can move on and move things. If dead - not. (hooray for characters not glorifying suicide. Way better than certain other Edwards with golden eyes.)

yeah, that's totally one of the major reasons i love him so much. he's an amazing character to start, and then he grows and develops so well throughout the series. <3

Ah... he's a cardboard shadow. People always can IMAGINE how he might be, cause in the end we don't get told how he is (except from sparkly and gorgeous and a total emo)... teenage girls can imagine their perfect boyfriend.
King Edward The Golden on the other hand... is introduced as a great kickass, a very well drawn character. Realistic, with strenth and courage, yet still sometimes hesitating (and hating himself for this, still unable to erase that completely), with dark spots - and with a damn load of quirks. He's realistic. We get him to know while we watch him growing.
But exactly this is what gives fan fiction authors perfect ground to stand on. We get to know Ed so all we have to do is writing him correctly. (which for some authors seems an impossible task - often enough 14-years old seem to mistake the one Golden Eyes Edward for the other. -__-). which includes guessing and interpreting: "How would he do in that situation. How now and then and how would he interact with certain persons?" (my favourite topic is his relationship to his father, especially in 1st-anime-verse, where he's stuck to live with daddy in the end of the anime - I'm more a fan of subtle tones so Edward is a bit calmer and more thoughtful by me. Imagine his more calmer moments in manga and anime and you got him how I write him. ^^ (caused by the fact that I suck at comedy and action.) )

I first saw the one with the snowball fight, and got interested. You draw all of the characters so well - not just one set or the other, either. All of them. Much better than the illustrations I do for my stories... ^_^
