This is an illustration I did for the 2009 cover of Londrina´s (my city) internet guide, Clicktudo. We decided to change a little the concept, compared to lats year´s cover, which I did too. See it here: [link]

The concept is the internet of the future, called Cloud Computing. If you are interested about getting to know it, watch this video [link] read this on wikipedia [link] .

To some up, we are not gonna be connected to anything by cables and wires, as we can start to see right now with 3G internet. Also, all our data (personal and from companies) are going to be hosted by a main source that we can acess by the net (a lot of people don´t find it secure), and also the softwares are going to be run by this host, so we won´t have to have installed on our personal computers.

You may wanna read more about it, ´cause it´s not that simple, it goes much further than that.

You can see the difference between the two covers, ´cause the last one illustrates the interior of a computer, with wires all over the place. And this one explores the future, with the light touch-screens we commonly see in movies, that new technologies cientists are studing to make them come true.
