Description
Me time is sketch timeEdit: I was inspired by Nell

However I was inspired mostly by sounds, not by lyrics. I personally prefer color of sounds over color of words. If you look up the translation it might change the color of the song for you.

The Cat Returns? even if it wasn't inspired, it's still cool.

I beg your pardon… Could you please explain what you mean by your comment? Not inspired? I looked up “The Cat Returns” and I was not influenced by that movie in the slightest. I was actually inspired by a song. Of course, cats + girl + sunset is not very original so there is definitely bound to be overlapping material. If I ever make fan art (like of the movie you mentioned), I will definitely say so. Please refrain from erroneously declaring the material I (didn’t) reference

Well then, I apologize for being a dick. I didn't know if it was inspired by The Cat Returns or not, but it reminded me of that because it looked similar to parts of the movie. Did you think I was insulting you? If that is the case, I can assure you that I did not declare that I know anything about this piece or any inspiration for it, other than I liked the piece, I had not even the slightest intention of insulting you. Considering though that in your comment you say that this piece was inspired by a song yet didn't include it in your description, you can hardly say that potential inspiration material is erroneous whether or not it was your song, or The Cat Returns, as the theme is quite similar, and it was my mistake for assuming that such a close resemblance was purely coincidental. Don't worry, you won't be seeing any more of me if I can help it.

Then there was an error in how I read your words, and for that I apologize. And also for snapping back when I normally wouldn't have-- final exams, essays, lack of sleep, and lack of coffee will turn anyone into an irritable monster.
Have a good one

Ah... Finals... I understand. Although my original comment does seem to have very little correct structure to it, so the first mistake was mine. I failed to realize that even reading my own comment after a few days would also likely make me think of it differently, and so I recognize it's flaws. Thanks for clearing that up, and you have a good one too.

Hehe, although for the next wave of exams/stress I should excuse myself from the internet. It's never pretty when I come to my senses

I think I feel your pain, but I don't think I will truly understand until next year. Unless being awake since 11am yesterday, with two finals between 10am - 2pm today while also finishing up a few essays to turn in before noon counts? Though I suppose that's really just torturing myself.

They say the same chemical that is released to provoke dreaming (DMT) is released when you die as well, so for me it's not even that I might anticipate like an afterlife living in somewhere like this, but maybe through the experience of DMT I could just have a quick feeling/experience of somewhere like here, with some really conclusive music or some shit.. idk.. all I know is you captured something really relaxing and enjoyable.

That's such a dreamy scenery! The paper planes are also a super nice touch!
and I must say you did an awesome job without using your dominant hand!

hmmm I would say more 95% without the dominant hand. Sometimes I forgot what I was doing and would switch the pen back to my right hand
But I hope this doesn't influence people with carpal tunnel to try to draw with the other hand. Drawing without first exercising the other hand is asking for trouble

Thank you~ It doesn't appear so, as I don't submit artwork in order, but I am going through a warm color phase
