Description
"I've made Throne for KAS far more Enigma Incorporated as he'll probably far more ancient than Heavenly Fang, I also upgraded his troublesome shoulder cannons to a Machine arm mounted Enigma Lazer that fires cross-shaped beams. In addition I made Throne part Medusaceratops and Einosaurus with the addition of Marginocephalian Quills"
Ah Good old Invictathrone, one of Ren's Oldest Kaiju. He's pretty much Bane, due to being torn to shreds by Steroperex and Bronte'Regina, requiring Machinery to function; and Magneto as he can manipulate metal, including his Cybernetics. Throne's most valuable asset is his willpower, that willpower actually manifested his metali-kinesis as Heavenly fang tried to put down the shredded titan"pun pun xD"... To sum up Throne, "He's not gonna create force fields and fly everywhere. He can only lift things lighter than himself...which includes pretty much everything thats not a major building or a land mark. If there's a kaiju that the military would really hate fighting, it would be Invictathrone. All that metal and its gonna be repelled back at them with interest. God help any mecha that come after him" Read his whole Backstory here, rendragonclaw.deviantart.com/a…
"realizes how much this new Throne looks like some mount from Dino Riders"

Oh wow, this got done and no one told me! This really came together, the cybernetics look functional yet still simple. Some of the metal parts even seem to be animate.

Interesting take on KAS Invictathrone, little more "accurate" than his canon incarnation which makes somewhat sense given if that he was a natural KAS kaiju who grew up in a "natural" KAS environment such as an Earth Hollow, he may well be a bit more tied in there.
As for what Ren has planned for KAS's HF Kaiju...oh the things he has planned (and by extension *I*) are quite...well you'll have to find out later.

Wait, If that said Earth Hollow would be the Savage Chasm, I don't think ren's ever given a direct location of the Chasm anyway... xD

Actually, he has. In KCELL,The Savage Chasm is somewhere beneath the Mediterranean and EDEN-II is directly beneath the Vatican. And its established in Erymanth's KAS Bio that the Savage Chasm "Earth Hollow" is a fusion of both, being under Italy in some fashion, maybe even directly under the Vatican itself.

Oh?!!... I actually was just reading a paleontological paper on the fauna present in Europe during the Maastritchtian, www.academia.edu/398456/The_Ca… Plus it gives all basic Dinosaur groups by Family taxonomic level for every continent excluding Antarctica. It even includes the non-dinosaur animals too; All................ except the Pterosaurs

Intriguing bit of information, though I'm not that much of a paleo-nerd.... okay I know way more than the average person in regards to history and such things, but compared to true "paleo-nerds" I'm often in the dark in regards to genetic and taxonomic information or the top leading theories on all things dinosaurs, all I really know is species information and the sheer weird variety. One of the reasons I'm not cutout to be a scientist
I enjoy Dinosaurs and their various subsets, but I prefer the making of characters and more monstrous aspects of them if you know my meaning (and like most creators in the fan-kaiju community (Like TyrantisTerror or RenDragonClaw for example) I don't often see eye to eye with the more "accurate or bust" crowd...being a proud practitioner of Retrosaur design that I am. ) As I am a character/design/monster first kind of guy, with accuracy taking a back seat as that's how I like my fantasy/sci-fi, with the "accurate" bits only being incorporated if it contribute to the design at at all. Often times, not as then you end up with a giant animal of which you couldn't tell is a "giant monster" just by looking at it. (and lets not even get started on the Raptorization crowd...woah boy.)
Ren's Heavenly Fang struck out to me and became one of my favorite dino-factions not just for the dinosaur kaiju but the way he weaves and works in the religious symbolism into each and every design, regardless of their scientific accuracy. Ren and I are of the same mind in terms of symbolism both being self-called "Symbolism Whores" and it shows in how many cultural and mythological homages abound in his stories. TyrantisTerror 's dino-kaiju appeal to my inner nostalgia and love of the classical designs, and Ren's dino-kaiju appeals to my inner history buff and mythology/cultural nerd that I am with each and every design of theirs being symbolic or representative of something in some way, shape, or form. Be it as mundane as a Sparkle-Wolf-Dragon getting munched by Duskizen (and why there are no "dragons" in Ren's verse last I checked), poking fun out of a past volatile situation with a former member the KAS admins (including myself) partaken in, throw-away jokes or references to inspirations, or the aforementioned Heavenly Fang Kaiju's Holy yet Heretical symbolism of it all.
For the Savage Chasm, Ren has intended it to be a sort of lost world containing all of the basic variants of dinosaurs from all ages homaging the "Hollow Earth" theory of the works of Jules Verne and Edgar Rice Burroughs as well the "Lost World" trope in general. So I don't really think, its location on the globe would effect what sort of wildlife that would be present therein. KAS's Savage Chasm might be a bit different which is one of the reason's Babit is a bit more whale-like as he described to you. I would describe more of what he told me about his plans, but thats top secret unless he already revealed his plans.

My sentiments exactly, I do admit that I'm an accuracy-nut "to an extent" I mostly use accuracy in the style of Monster Hunter, I like to elaborate on the "handwavium" of things, especially worldbuilding. I remember that even made that diagram of how Tyrantis's species of Tyrannopyrodon and how their Flame breath mechanics work. But I definitely see where your coming from.

Aren't we all? When real physics can be used in a design and make it unique and work well, well what more can you ask for? Its when you take Godzilla, an iconic and muscly and tall MONSTER and some new kid or some "paleo artist" turns him into a hyper-realistic T-Rex for "realism" which in turn makes him look like a anorexic and frail Jurassic Park rip off is when realism goes to far. Monster Hunters monsters are well, MONSTERS, they may have superficial resemblance to animals, however above all else, they are unique and monsters plain and simple, not giant animals as most "accurate" artists make their monsters. It gents a point where the thing in question is JUST an animal "described"/super imposed as giant which in turn makes it look like an unintentional 50's romp with Iguana's being super-imposed in size and called Dinosaurs. Which defeats their original designs intent and purpose in the first place, making it an unintentional homage to the films they often detest, lol.
But yeah, first and foremost monsters should be unique design and well, monstrous, and not just a giant accurate animal, lol.

Exactly!!!! Take Throne for example.... With the exposure to Enigma and countless other "Handwavium", Dinosaurs and other animals would become the "Enigma-Fauna" of Savage Chasm. Granted I do think the "Enigma-fauna" would have Evolution, Animalistic Behavior, and the ease of reproduction that any normal animal would have; complete with limited "powers". The same case with Monster Hunter as they have actual populations instead of an individual creature while still having Powerful poisons and poisonous gasses, fire breath, conductive Lightning mucus balls, Sheer Physical Prowess, the like... Then when Heavenly Fang arrives and do their genetic testing of EDEN01. The creation of Throne would have been a experimental amalgam of all the unknown Enigma-fueled new species of Ceratopsians of the hollow. Not to mention an injection of the extra "Handwavium" that makes up Kaiju Serum. That's pretty much the extent of my "Accuracy"... To clarify, "Handwavium" is my term for WHO CARES for when it's impossible... xD

I like it, has a very Zoids-esk feel to him. The downturned can-opener horn is also a detail that i find extremely interesting given how effectively it could be used on a kaiju.

Yeah, I see the resemblence with Dark Horn and Bio-Tricera. Since his real horn was snapped off, Heavenly Fang's Cybernetics Department gave him a solid metal horn which he can mold into any shape he needs. Say he needs to pry a building off of it's foundation he'd bend it into a "crowbar shape", in an attack with an enemy Kaiju he could make his horn into that down-turned axe, even a hammer bludgeon in the event of armored enemies. A "Swiss army Horn" if you will...

You sir win the internet! I don't remember Ren saying his horn could do that but I do know his tail could, this would give him a damn near demonic two pronged attack.

Yeah it's a creative liberty, I actually discussed it with him and he told me it would definitely be in his realm of abilities. Maybe not KCELL. But definitely in KAS as he's much older and experienced, though I am confused whether he's still part of Heavenly Fang in KAS... xD
