I think you pulled off this pose fairly well. I would have moved the right leg (our right) a tad lower though.
Just for interest sake, her chest plate seems very fabric like, Do they perhaps make use of high density metallic fibers or flexible alloys?
I absolutely LOVE what you did with the sword, It has the qualities of a Katana but with beefed up features. I haven't seen anyone do that in quite some time. I would have made her hold it with both hands though as it IS a two handed sword after all.
I still can't get over how smooth your work is, You my dear friend have more patience than I do. I'd go crazy If I had to use Illustrator.

I actually have yet to lay down final armors for my people, every time I draw then something changes a little. The only constant so far is the Hoodie/cloak thing. Black Red and gold are the Orders colours. And of all the characters I've drawn, he sword is the only one that hasn't changed since it's inception.
And about Illustrator... yeah... I went crazy a LONG time ago. It's the only way to use it my friend
