I read some greek mythology again last night (told by Michael Köhlmeier, not sure anybody knows him) and as he described the story of Eos, an comic image of her popped into my mind that I decided to draw. Just for giggles I added other goddesses.Left to right:
Eos, goddess of dawn
Aphrodite, goddess of love
Artemis, goddesss of hunt and virginity
Persephone or Kore, queen of the underworld.
Eos' hair is meant to echo the rising sun and her fingers always follow disappearing rose petals because one of her names is "the rosy-fingered". I also tried to give them a bit different body shapes, while Eos is petite, Aphrodite is very voluptuous etc.
I realised that I need to pratice drawing in a comicy style XD

Ich finde diesen anderen Zeichenstil echt cool und vorallem liebe ich Eos und Aphrodite, denn bei ihnen sieht man wirklich gut, welche "Art" Göttin sie sind.
Dein Comicstil finde ich jedenfalls toll <3

Wenn wir vor den Ferien in Latein keinen neuen Stoff mehr anfangen wollten haben wir uns immer Köhlmeiers Erzählungen angehört. Ich hab nebenbei auch meistens kleine Bildchen von Göttern gekritzelt. xD
Artemis ist von denen hier eindeutig mein Favorit!

Ja, sehr passend so. Die Körperform sagt ja (bei erfundenen Figuren) schon sehr viel über den Charakter und den Lebensstil aus. x3

Well, she was being described as being very boyish-looking multiple times, so it was a must to give her such looks :3 apart from that, SHE chose to be a virgin x3

It's good to see that Aphrodite is depicted here as being voluptuous because y'know, back then, that /was/ the standard for sexy/attractive.
