Gawd, there is not enough art of all three of these characters together! The mystery behind Gaster is one of the most compelling of the game, and I just have to assume that Sans and Alphys either have a very close friendship, or one that was strained or broken by whatever happened to Gaster. Kind of like the inverse of parents losing a child and not being able to continue a marriage- two people lose a mentor before his time and being around each other just reminds them of him. You have to wonder why Sans does jobs he clearly isn't enthused by instead of doing science, which he might have absolutely loved at one point.
Plus just the way you draw Alphys and Sans is totally squishable.
