Rio the Riolu
His parents are soldiers in an other place quite far from Andalusst, they're from a long bloodline of soldiers and all their lineage have to become one.

His mother is a Zoroark and her mate is an Arcanine. All their kids are Zoruas because of the fact that the specie of the baby is determined by the mother's specie except in some abnormal case.

Though his mother had met a Lucario when she was in a mission. She kept the egg, thinking that there wouldn't be any problem. Though, the baby was a Riolu. A bit abnormal due to the genetics problem who cause the specie difference, her was a bit fluffier and looking a bit more canine than normal Riolus, getting him closer from Zorua genetic.

The Arcanine never accepted him, always rejecting him and his mother was neglecting him. His parents were more carrying about their other kids who were destine for army like their parents. Of course, Rio wouldn't become a soldier, their parents were pretending they adopted him because of the death of one of their baby.

Rio isn't his real name, he doesn't have one though his brothers and sisters were calling him so because he's a Riolu.

They were most of the time annoying him, they often transformed themselves into Fire types to scare him. He couldn't do anything because of his parents who would have punish him.

Because of that, he has a quite low self-esteem, is docile and scared by most of other Pokemons, he estimates that he's to weak to defend himself.

And with the fact that his parents were carrying about the Zoruas, he has always admire them and has decide to try to be like them. So he learned to walk on four paws and draw the red marks with make-up.

Possible changes in the design or the story but the concept is here.

Yeah I know, there is already way too much Riolu in PMDU, a new one to add to the overpopulation ;w;

Drawing all this fluff kill me, I know why I prefer drawing reptilian creatures haha.

I was thinking to color the comic with that style maybe.
