Model: KarolinWe've gotten some new studio equipment at our school, (now it can actually can be considered more or less as a studio...) and we decided to play around a little bit. Didn't know blitz-lamps could be so fascinating, and studio work so fun
Post-processing:
Adjusted the contrast, turned into black and white and cropped in adobe raw.

That's a very pleasing portrait. I like the angle of the shot, how she is looking up at us, as well as her expression. Nice composition and exposure. I like that she looks truly happy.

Too bad you can't name a pic with an emote
Great lighting on the face and eyes. Though not on the arm, and I think the angle adds to this as well....she looks like she could lift a car

I gave the pic a different cropping and brushed out the arm of the pictures...I don't like doing that, but it does look better doesn't it?

Yeppers, looks better. But if you dont wanna do editing like that why not just crop it closer to her face? The compo will maybe suffer a bit but try cutting it a bit into her hair. You'll also fill the frame with her face more.

I decided to "let go" of my "principles" when I tried a tighter crop, rather brush out a little of her arm
