Description At least, I think that's what it's called. It's supposed to be the string that ties two lovers together, but I'm not too familiar with the subject.(I'll take an explanation from anyone who can explain it to me!) Anyway, I made up these two off the top of my head, and I get the feeling I'm gonna LOVE drawing these two in the future.

EDIT: It's actually the string of fate . Thanks to those of you who pointed that out to me!

I thought it was called a string of fate. :/

Cute picture though. The guy looks kind of confused like she lassoed his finger with it.

You're right about the fate thing, I need to change that.

How much do one of those cost?

Cost? Oh, I've never done separate commisions before, no one's asked me to. Why do you ask?

I was asking how much an actual "string of faith" costs (sorry I wasn't concise)

Oh! And I'm sorry for making assumptions. The string of faith, if I have it right, is really just a concept, not an actual string. Kind of like, oh, I don't know, radio waves? Y'know, they aren't waves like in the ocean, that's just something we call them.

Hehe, how cute. She's still thinking in terms of that job she's gotta do. You can do it, Kitty-chan! Go for it! ^^

She's so gonna kill me for that...

Anyway, I did the research for her, since she's got work to do and really should have a break. It's actually called the Red String of Fate, and it's more a myth than a bit of merchandise. Has to do with ancient Chinese gods, one in particular who liked to play matchmaker and tied destined couples together with red strings (originally by their ankles, but the myth has spread and changed since then). The string was said to stretch or tangle, but never break.

Since it's just string, you could probably make your own String of Fate with a bit of yarn or colored cord.

Hmm.. you think I can buy yarn in the kilometers?

Possibly. If not you could splice the ends of yarn together. I'm not sure how people would feel about you stretching yarn over kilometers of space, though. The myth said the string can tangle, but it never mentioned the reactions of people who got caught up in said tangled messes.
