Woot, finally coloured it after two and a piece of third days. I'm thinking now that I am really a masochist - coloured every scale individually. Thought of colouring him red but I liked orange colours.Scaner again can't show shaves perfectly but atleast dragon colours are pretty realistic.
P.S. Who didn't see lineart, the meaning of "fail" here is the failure of depicting Eragon's Saphira. After that I decided to colour it as Spike but I liked the current scale colour, so it become a dragon based on those mentioned ones

I liked the yellow golden dragon a lot! Unfortunatly it really looks the colors are a little weird in the black belly scales, probably because of the scan.

Have same thoughts about those black scales. I added to them mixture of silver and green color (that could be the reason of strangeness) - in original (not scanned version) doesn't look strange at all, though

Maybe it's simply that we are humbled to be witness to an artist as obviously talented as you. I mean, your work is totally freaking epic. At least, that's what myself and over a hundred others think.
Try this; pretend to be someone else looking at your art for the first time. Pick a piece you've done recently, one that you normally think isn't good. THen close your eyes, leave all your preconceptions about it behind, and then look at the piece. If you look at something with fresh eyes, you're bound to notice that something is totally awesome when you thought it failed.

It happened in middle school - once I found in my sketchbook a pic
of leafy trees on fire and got mad (I'm very stingy when it comes to art materials - I would give them freely only to those who good at art): "Who dared to draw in my Notebook!? Oh, but the art is kinda impressive
Dunno, if it would work. The memories of how they (pics) were done are too deeply inprinted in my mind.

Could be hard to do 'cause I'm ... can't even describe the connection between my pics and me ... I still have flashbacks of works (those aren't in DA gallery or in any other way saved) which were given away few years ago. Seems like pics to me are very dear (if you want to see me in rage - try doing something to my drawings)... Ugh, dunno. Seems to be impossible to erase that link. Sometimes I think that they are part of my soul
