I have a Serpent-dragon character and this design is pretty epic. I was wondering if I could make a Colored Version and Give credit where its due?

This is beautifully drawn. Such a shame it was stolen, I reported the stealer. ^^

O.O oh mi gawd really?
It's a older book written by J. R. Tolkein, the Lord of the Rings follow after it too... there is an old cartoon movie about it. The same animators for The Last Unicorn. You may enjoy it!!

Aww, don't be so hard on yourself. I think it looks fantastic, and very dramatic.
Do you mind if I digitally colour this picture. It just looks so incredible and intresting. All credit will go to you, of course.

Really nice and detailed.
Are you sure it's not digital?

kxeron In reply to spoki0 [2011-04-27 21:31:05 +0000 UTC]
Of course it's 100% traditional - I don't have equipment for doing digital pics of such quality...

spoki0 In reply to kxeron [2011-04-28 05:56:39 +0000 UTC]
What equipment would that be?
You can download pretty decent free software and redraw an image with the pen tool there.

That would be tablet, and I'm not so good to draw like this digitally with mouse

spoki0 In reply to kxeron [2011-04-28 13:44:03 +0000 UTC]
It does not require a tablet.
The pen tool lets you make the curve/line by adjusting, adding and removing points on it. It works really well once you get used to it.
Probably a bit of self promoting, but my the lineart in my digital drawings are examples of lines drawn with a mouse.
My best example: [link]

Thank you.
As I said, the lineart was done with the pen tool and using a mouse.

Um, may I ask then what kind of software do you use? Although,I'm not really the person who would do something digital(I'm more of traditional art's supporter)...

spoki0 In reply to kxeron [2011-04-28 20:04:09 +0000 UTC]
I use Adobe Photoshop CS3, why?
Traditional art is just as good as digital, and I draw a lot more traditional than digital myself.
