Drew it the first day I saw Stocks for 's july contest... I wish I could do better with dragon's (but I feel like it is more demon than dragon) head and some background relating things.Stocks used:

Not really - two maybe, but not few. Scaling dragons takes sometimes a few hours but not this one

I'm not usually a huge fan of non colour drawings, but the level of detail here is quite convincing. The main problem for me is the lack of shading or faintness in the grass, so most of the image actually looks like squiggles which draw away from the main objects. However I love the details on the leaves.

Thanks, hehe, no tree leaves here - thank god, less "green" work I'm still struggling with humans though, but now it's a bit easier to draw them

Just like with animals, you have to study human anatomy to be able to do better proportions and also try to draw from photographs or references for practise

Well, detailed linearts take me from two hours to five, sometimes longer (depends on detail level) This one [link] took longer than a day for sure... As for actual piece 5-6 hours.
