Commander Aztec is killed during an ambush on the homeland. His lieutenant and lifelong friend Dante rushes to his aid but is too late; he arrives just in time for Aztec to pass on to the Lands of Windsinger. Dante is left to mourn the loss of the dragon he considered a brother, and don his armor to continue his legacy as commander.

making stories up for my FR dragons ;; I'm exalting my dragon "commander" Aztec (exalting = death to me, since they "go to serve under Windsinger", which is their god). I've had him for awhile though and wanted to draw a scenario which makes sense for his death. I might do more of these, since they're fun to experiment with even if they look pretty sketchy. It was also fun to time challenge myself c:
