Oki found himself reflecting as he lay still. Of course, what he was reflecting on was how he couldn't move or speak, which was a perfectly normal reaction to the situation he’d found himself in. Amaterasu had done a very thorough job, he would admit that. She'd led him to the vine-covered ruins, something he'd been nervous about doing, but the other wolf's manner assured him nothing bad was going to happen. And strictly speaking, this wasn't exactly bad, or it didn't feel that way. It was pleasant having the white furry body of the goddess pressed against his back, her warm heat giving him a surprisingly lightheaded feeling. Or maybe that was the vines? Oki had to wonder, he could understand tying him up, but why did she decide to do it to herself too?

The wolf shifted his head slightly to look at Amaterasu. She too had a great hard melon in her mouth, rendering them both incapable of so much as whimpering for help with the vines around their muzzles. Vines pinned their paws to their bodies and their bodies tightly together, while leafy coverings prevented their claws from gaining purchase on anything around them. A series of wooden stakes secured their hind-paw bindings, front-paw bindings, body bindings, and even their tight gags to the stone floor. Clearly, the goddess had no fear of overkill. Still, Oki didn't see any way for Amaterasu to get them out of the situation she’d happily put them in, and that struck him as odd. Perhaps she just wanted him to think she didn't? Well, whatever, he thought. I'm doing fine here.
