I guess it had to do with issues with the series. For me I have to draw with my index finger on my iPad as my tablet pen’s batteries are now unrechargable.

Well, we all struggle really, but there's something you need to know, artists don't like it when you tell them how you will never be good as they are, because they worked hard to get there and are still working to get further. It's hard, I know, I vented a couple of times to artists how they are better than me and it made them uncomfortable and now I feel so bad for that, instead, you should ask them to give you some advice, like how you did now, and people will usually tell you "just practice", but it's more than that, yes you DO need to practice, but you need to know what you need to practice. The best way to practice is to copy the things you see, I used to do that all the time when young, but I did it with other people's work, of course I didn't post that online, I was also too young. I still don't know anatomy all that well since it's hard and I don't practice it, but I really should. Art needs time which is why it's frustrating since we are all busy with life stuff, but you need to decide what you like to draw and what it takes for you to learn so you could be able to draw what you want. If it's a dog, practice canine anatomy, if it's a cat, practice feline anatomy, etc. There's also perspective (which I despise) and color theory which you need to know. Studying perspective can give you a sense of space and more room for creativity. Now there's styles, you can choose to copy styles from stuff you want to draw (kinda how I do) or develop your own style and draw like that...or maybe both! You can do anything you want really, you just need time and patience....says a person that has neither of those. I suck at advice but I hope this helped a little
