This is a close relative to Samurai Soul where I was testing the bamboo- to the top, the wet on wet technique from a large area just became the sky for this pic.When I archived some of these pics, I didn't know this one was so close to the glue and the pace that got flooded out, so I had to peel it to safety, and cut a lot away to make it a feasible image. It looks like it still gets to grow as a picture again.

I think one of the most difficult aspects of art for me is the creation of glyphs to represent more complex things. I can see images in all sorts of things, stains, wood grain, acoustic ceiling tiles, you name it. The process of simplifying in my own drawing, like pulling elephant teeth. This is an excellent example of simple glyph representing something detailed.
