OOO i don't like the english voiceovers, the jap version are way better, so when you get your DVDs put on subtitles if u don't know jap.

My hair could be like Ed's if I had cared. But, ya know, everything has its drawbacks. I'd have to quit my current job cause they wouldn't put up with it, and I'd have to do something, somewhere else, and Jami-dono wouldn't appreciate that. So, I have to keep it short...for now!

Ed's freaking awesome. FMA has quickly become one of my favorite anime. I'm just praying to God it doesn't turn into some Pokemon thing where the episodes begin to repeat themselves.

I doubt it will. The entire series is only 56 episodes, while Pokemon's into the 500s and still going, if I'm not mistaken. So I doubt well have to suffer through that kind of torture.

I knew FMA only had 50-something episodes, which, oddly, makes me very, very happy. Many of the best anime, I've noticed, typically last two seasons at the most.
I'm buying the first DVD set when it comes out next month.

Oh me too. I'm so psyched to get it. Sadly, my current favorite anime just...ends. without a conclusion. I have two more DVDs to buy until that happens... I'm not looking forward to it.

The situation sucks mightily. The series is SOOOO FREAKING GOOD too. I'm hopelessly addicted to it, and terribly depressed because it all ends in 10 more episodes without a proper conclusion. Dammit >_<

Hmm, I might check into that, though I don't know if I'd much like to put myself through the frustration of not having some kind of closure. But, hey, if I happen to come across it, I'll give it a look.
Do they give any sort of indication of how it ends at all?

I'm hoping they tie up at least a few loose ends... There's about 4 or 5 subplots surrounding the main character all at once... But I recommend it highly, despite the impending disappointment. It's probably among the 3 best anime I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot; both old and new.
