Inspiration hit me like a speeding semi today while waiting outside of ~ Blade-Angel 's Trig class... I haven't drawn any Xenosaga fanart in months...Alas, I didn't have my sketchbook, so I had to scribble a preliminary sketch down on notebook paper. I have every intention of making a MUCH better version of this on nice paper. It's just too cool not to.
The words in the background are the incomplete lyrics to "Key of the Twilight" by Kajiura Yuki from the .Hack//SIGN soundtrack. I find this song fits Xenosaga's themes and story so well, it's creepy. Interestingly, Kajiura-sama is the composer of Xenosaga Episode II's soundtrack...

LOL. Yeah, I've copied chaos and the globe onto new paper; I'm just not sure how I'm going to pull off the Zohar in the background. Maybe draw it seperately and then paste the two together on the computer?

And I'm happy to provide, my friend. 
Now that I've actually had some time to PLAY Episode 2 in recent days, I've finally been sucked into it. Oddly, with the exception of chaos, I'm using the party members I NEVER used in Ep. 1 (Ziggy, MOMO, and Jr.) and have been ignoring Shion and KOSMOS almost completely. I've also been using Ether a lot more, which is odd for me, as I'm not a heavy magic user in ANY game I play.
I don't have Jin yet, but I WILL be making great use of him. Oh yes. He's beginning to steal my heart from dear chaos; I mustn't allow that to happen... Wilhelm distracts me enough as it is....

Episode II is addicting indeed XD I didn't really end up using Jin much, though I guess I had sort of established this fighting style around chaos which usually meant throwing Ziggy in there too, and stuff. Ethers are fun. I probably should have used more--I used the healing ones all the time though. They really started to get weak after awhile, or so it seemed 0_x
ehehe, Wilhelm. He scares me. XD I think he's evil. (but I suppose I can see the attractiveness... maybe... I stick with chaos XD)

I'm not sure where Wilhelm stands, but he's definitely not the most benevolent person... He's after his own aims, and is pulling everyone else's strings to attain them.
But, I'm attracted to power, so I think that's why I like him so much... 
I still like chaos better though. He's got power, but he's a nice guy. For now. I don't see him turning evil in future games, but I know he's involved pretty deeply with what's going on, and may have to do some terrible things to complete whatever tasks he's been set to do.

I do have theories about where both Wilhelm and chaos stand, but that would involve me spoiling Episode II. 
(of course, if you don't care about spoilers, I can say so... or I did actually finally reopen Heaven Unsolved; it's ready, and I alluded to it there. I still have to write my actual chaos/Wilhelm (not as a couple, just the analysis) article)
