I drew this one a few days ago, and finished coloring it in a fit of boredom during ~Blade-Angel 's Chemistry class this morning.The proportions and coloring are a tad off here, but I finished the whole thing in a span of about 15 minutes start to finish, so I wasn't really going for perfection in this case. It's still disturbingly cute.
And, FYI, we've decided that NaJa speaks with a British accent; I imagine him sounding similar to Stewie from Family Guy, but much more of a smart-ass, if that's possible. And he's a Ska fan.

Naja means cobra... I stumbled across your gallery while looking for Naja & Naga, and now I am curious how your Naja got his name. It's so cute... I suddenly wish he were a plushie ^;~

As for his name... ~Blade-Angel used to be my boyfriend, and Naja was our "mascot." We used the first syllables of each of our names, "Na" for Nathaniel, and "Ja" for Jami, and came up with the name. I've long since split with him, though, so I've changed it to be short for Nataraja.

Me: *drags you closer to one of the many emergency first aid kits placed all around the house, just in case of a situation like this* "Ooooookay. Now, if I remember my athletic trainer schooling properly.... 'First determine if the victim is breathing, and check for a pulse.' Check. 'Next, gently palpate injured area to determine exact location of injury.'" *yanks on your earlobe*
You: "OOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! BLOODY HELL!!!"
Me: "Check. It appears to be a small laceration...'Using a dry cloth, apply pressure to wound to stop bleeding.' Okay!"
You:
Me: *grabs a towel and drapes it over your head, and smushes your ear, nearly suffocating you in the process*
You: Mrffff mff mrrrrffff mrrrrr!
Me: "You'll have to speak up, dear, I can't hear you.... 'Next, flush out wound with cool water and apply clean bandages.'" *drags you into the bathroom and sticks your head under the faucet*
You: *squirm* "OMG IT'S COOOLD. *shiver*
Me: "Oh, don't be such a baby. *starts wrapping your head with bandages*
NaJa: "Wouldn't a simple Band-Aid be sufficient?"
Me: "Quiet, you. I'M the trained professional, here." *finishes wrapping. You look like a mummy.* "There, all better!"
You: "Err...yeah. Thanks. I think...

You: Quite you! I'm trying to concentrate!
