Their indigo scales absorb heat, fueling the furnace within their colossal frames to staggering temperatures; and making the signature purple fire they produce the second hottest known to man. Few curious (or ignorant) enough to approach these giants return alive, usually coerced into a fatal trap set by the drake’s manipulative demeanor & telepathy. Night drakes are ground-dwelling dragons who are best left undisturbed in their volcanic abodes...
