Description My first real attempt at a speed painting. And a landscape. What?! This took about an hour. The tree is inspired by the tree in Forrest Gump's backyard.

I really want to improve my painting, so bear with me while I upload a bunch of horrible landscapes in the meantime. I hope I don't lose half you guys as watchers. D:

The colours in this are simply perfect. The river and the light on the edge leaves... just spectacular.

A lovely scene. I forget, what program do you use for your digital paintings?

Really I just used one brush for this one, I think. It's kind of rectangular but it's not solid; it as a bunch of scraggy lines running through it... idk it's hard to explain. XD Its default size is 44 I think.

I've developed a preference for using brush sizes with even numbered pixels. :0 It's probably just my imagination, but things seem to come out clearer when I use them... though it could also be a mathematical thing concerning the art program, I suppose.

You're totally not going to lose any watchers we watch you because we like to see ALL of your art! Love how you drew the sun catching the leaves on the end of the branches.

Really nice landscape I like the warm color palette you chose. Watch out for the shadow of the tree, esp. the large tree branch thats supposed to be close to the ground. It doesn't look like its attached properly in its shadow form x) But really, nice temperatures

The fact that you're posting things outside of your usual zone is such a PLUS! I love artists who challenge themselves. Also-- the leaves look superb.

You won't lose me, I can hardly draw my own characters anymore I've gotten so out of practice. I mostly knit these days. And I think this is good for something done in only an hour, geez.

painting, trees, landscapes... All a pain in the tail D:
But it looks good C:

I especially like the river and simplicity of the distant scape.
