Thanks! But yeah Andalite physiology makes me so mad lol. I would love for a team of biologists to logic out how andalites might work because man they just make my head hurt when I think about them too hard rule of cool I guess

They're so wonderfully complex because K.A. Applegate (I think, my memory on the details of this story are fuzzy, so I might get some details wrong) was originally going to have the Andalites be generic "grey" aliens, but Scholastic didn't want that, so to make it difficult for any possible TV show to depict Andalites (and other aliens), she made them as unique and bizarre as she could.

The Andalites' total lack of sense make me so mad hahaha but it keeps me drawing them. SOMEDAY I MIGHT BE ABLE TO BS SOME SENSE INTO THEM. MAYBE. I'll keep honing my bullshit skills til then XD

Aw, thanks! That's really flattering ahaha. I really enjoy drawing them, probably too much XD 

I haven't been uploading all of them to deviantart due to the really fast sketchy nature of some of the drawings, though. If you wanna keep up on my animorphs sketching I post the majority of it on my tumblr (same name as this account). I'll update my devart to match as soon as possible though. Iiii'm just behind on keeping up on my art accounts haha.

I absolutely want to keep up with all your animorphs sketching.  I followed you instantly (I'm pretty-rage-machine).  Gosh, this series was such a huge part of my childhood, and now finding your fanart as an adult it's like the fandom has kind of grown up and people are doing things like racebending, which I love now... +_+

I love your designs for the aliens and everything... the Leerans look fantastic, the Hork-bajir you draw are so great, especially when you put them in the trees and play with the light and how they look there... WOW.  It's just like candy for me.  I've been keeping an eye on your fanart I think since you posted some of it on the Animorphs livejournal comm, and I'm so happy you're still keeping up with it!

Oh man, all your comments mean so much to me haha, wow, that's so nice to hear, it's amazing to know that someone's so into the stuff I do. Thanks for following me! And yeah I love the racebending too, whenever I get around to drawing the actual Animorphs again I'm gonna try and flesh out my Tobias, Jake and Rachel XD I don't see myself stopping with the creature designs anytime soon though so yeah um I hope you continue to enjoy the random spams of Animorph fanart XD Cheers

Thanks! And um I suppose they would be? I think they were mostly developed as centaur-like beings by the tim the Ellimist came along... Really this bunch of doodles was mostly just me taking the basic concepts of Andalites and trying to figure out how they evolved the way they did.

Yeah, i think you're right. In retrospect, the Ellimist did come upon them when they had basic language and societal structures already established and not so primitive. These are still really amazing, though.

Aw, thanks XD Glad it hit a chord with you. If you're interested in more Animorphs stuff there's a group right here under the name 'animorphs', then there's 'animorphsect' on tumblr, if you use that site. It's a small fandom but there's some pretty cool stuff floating around
