Somewhere Gene Kelly is smileing.
I have seen the work of Ryo Seheta on line and am blown away by his work, as with Mark Jenkins.
I want to try this but I have many questions such as:
Is it strong or fragile?
Do you know if you can use a sealant on it? I know you can paint them or so I have read.I would like to make a small one then decoupage it.
This is really one of the best tape sculptures I have seen.
Keep up the good work!

sory not to have responded earlier so if you havent gotten these answered already then here goes:
if you want to decoupage it using masking tape might work better. Packing tape might not take to too much. You an make it as sturdy or weak as you want. This was made flexible enough to get off the manican then stiffened up more with a couple extra layers of tape. the more layers of tape the sturdier. other than that you can do just about anything you want! this sculpture was outside in windy weather for 2 1/2 weeks i was surprised so woot!
