Yes, Bob sometimes wishes that he could drive AND capture the things we see ...but at least one of us is entertained by trying to grab a shot here and there... just wish I was able to capture every image that I see... but, at 65 miles an hour, it just isn't possible ...but, it does provide me a challenge!

Well, dear, he could but I don't think that would be very safe.

Keep working on capturing those images.
I'm sidelined for a bit.
Two 2-liter bottles fell out of a ripped bag and broke my big toe, bruised the bone on the top of my foot and caused some swelling (soft tissue damage)...doctor was a barrel full of laughes with the soda jokes.
Good thing he was very very good looking.
I should have asked to take a picture, lol.

*OUCH!! * I hope it's not going to take a long time to heal I know from experience, that there isn't too much they can really do about the broken toe... and I know just how hard it is to walk when you're big toe is broken Seems weird that one toe would have sooooooooooo much to do with everything

It is much improved today. The swelling is down and for that I am extremely happy.

I am grateful to not have to put on a shoe until tomorrow though!! lol...

well, be sure to put the shoe on right when you wake up ...and then don't take it off, until you're ready to be an invalid again ...better yet, don't take the shoe off again, until you've had some pain meds...or you have a hot tub with epsom salts ready

Yep...I have some tea tree oil (melaleuca oil) that helps with the pain and swelling too. Good stuff!

Well, just remember that once you get a tight fitting shoe on the broken toe... it really won't feel too bad (once it swells enough to fill up the space around the toe, in the shoe )... and you'll be alright... UNTIL you decide to take the shoe off again just thinking about it. I had to work on my feet, the first time I broke one of my big toes... and fortunately, the job required cowboy boots, which were great for holding the toe quite tight during working hours... but, oh boy! did I wanna scream when it came time to take them off Thankfully, that was a long time ago... in a galaxy far away ...in fact, I haven't even owned a pair of cowboy boots in more than 30 years now

lol...I will wear flats tomorrow. My ballet flats.
The only pair I own that aren't high heels or tennis shoes.
They will be perfect.

sweetie... when you get as old as I am... all kindza things begin to seem like they happened in a galaxy far far away
The first time that I could remember something that "happened 20 years ago" ...I couldn't believe it ...now I can remember that happened more than 40 years ago runs and hides behind the couch
Heck, I even have a 1984 t-shirt from the Smoky Mountains that's 27 years old ...and if I remember right, you're almost that old???!!

I'm 35... I have clothes I still had when I was in high school. 17.

I know things happen as we age.
I won't be able to do this that is for sure.

Have a good week Alice. I'm going to take the children for a few days get-away for Spring Break. It's always fun to do that...hotel, eating out. Not having to make the bed, lol.
