Good question. I don't really know how I draw hair, in fact that works like automatically.

Yeah the white one's awesome, it had a very cool effect

Um, well... I totally suck with original ideas for hair for starters (which would be kinda cool for an OC)
But hair in general seems to give me a hard time, I ussually just make a lot of lines that symbolize the hair, but than it can get very chaotic and your's also has a lot of lines, but not so many that it is distractive

I hope this isn't too fuzzy to read
Otherwise sorry for that and let me know, then I'll try to elaborate ^^

Hm, that's not easy of course... I don't know whether there are really great tips for that, I never really come up with anything truly original either.
About the line problem: It may help you to start with kind of an outline of the hair and then draw most of the lines inside it. That way, even if you have a lot of lines, they don't look confusing as the single hairs of a strand point into the same direction.

Yeah I guess that must have hurt a lot and in real life probably won't look too nice, but in your drawing it looks great

Hm, yeah, got point. even that part I forgot I ussually just made line over line over line xD not the best way (and it frequently ruined the shape of the head because the proportions were of *sigh*)
I was thinking about doing more manga like, I guess it's a nice way to try doing some hair again

Hehe, thats why fantasy worlds are a lot cooler, you can always make characters look like you want them to, no matter what they've been through. ^^

I can't guarantee it works this way, but well, it might.
Drawing manga style's fun, you should try. Especially since you can play around with haircuts a lot like this.

Aw, you're exaggerating there, I think you just lack confidence in your drawing skills. What I've seen of your work wasn't so bad. ^^

I will that's how I started out (with dragonball for example) but then I got too much focused on drawing with references and try more and more realistic that I kinda forgot how to do manga's
And I'd like to make some cool looking OC's for example, then manga would be a great style for them

I threw them in the garbage bin rarely do that but I tried some hair yesterday (before your comment) and I was really not having my day for drawing
Yeah I also lack confidence, but I can see a lot of flawes as well. But then I guess, if I practice I'll keep on getting better

Though you shouldn't be discouraged by that - even a crappy drawing's practice as you can see the mistakes that made it look bad and learn from them.

A crappy drawing is indeed also a practice but, I rather have them turn out nice
I can get pretty frustrated when my drawings or paintings just won't work out the way I want them too

Hehe, I'm never sure about my holiday plans anyways since they depend on other people a lot... The only thing I know for sure is that I want to go to Venice with Lyrie and the rest of the Black Quartet *grins*

Hm, I've actually been there twice, but that was a real long while ago... last time I was eight or something, so I hardly remember what it was like.
I hope so too, we'll have to convince our parents to let 4 crazy girls go on holiday into another country all by themselves... *laughs* And I'll even be one of the responsible ones, being the second oldest. Hm, you're right there, with this buch of people everywhere's fun... and especially with her. ^^

That's not an excuse! We really did write that story back at the writing week, and it takes place in Venice during the Carnival. And... well, we don't really need any kind of background research, since we won't be meeting any vampires there anyways, but we could still check out our main character's hometown. *laugh*

I can already practice convincing my parents ^^ I've been invited to Bavaria today; an Intenet-friend of mine asked me whether I wanted to come over for a week when her holidays start. Let's see whether I get my parents to agree on "Mum, may I go to a foreign country on my own to spend a week at the house of somebody I've never actually met but who's reeeaaally nice?"
