Description This is a picture that I drew for the endangered species day contest that my friend and teacher got me involved in. The contest is supposed to raise awareness for endangered species. The two species I depicted are from Wisconsin; the sharp tailed grouse and the karner blue butterfly. The plant is special too but I forgot the name off the top of my head. I used my prismacolored pencils that my beau gave me ^_^ They are so awesome. Β‘Me gusta mucho! I did use a few references btw to make sure I could draw the species appropriately. The title is supposed to drive home the message I wanted to convey. These two creatures are different but if they can look past that they realize how much they have in common and can coexist happily. Enjoy.

Awesome work (as always)! This is just a beautiful piece. I love the look of the sunlight in the background. I also really like the depth you able to get with the size and placement of the flowers and butterflies. Well done! You never cease to amaze me, my friend.

This is just so beautiful. You did an incredible job with everything.
The only things that bug me are the fore front flower petals(They look like they could use some more smoothing out. Blending with a white color prisma can help you do this,although it might mke the color fade a little. And the perspective of the leaf the butterfly is reasting on,seems a bit exaggerated,the leaf looks to long. Other than that AWESOMEEEEEEE!

Thanks buddy, I always love it when people actually take the time to really look and critique. I agree, the one leaf is definitely too long and I did sort of BS the front petals, though I think I did use a white colored pencil like you suggested, perhaps not enough? It was sort of a rush job by the end of it lol. Thanks for the comment
