Well, I've had this sketch floating around in my sketchbook for a while, something I've been meaning to do. One of my favorite Magic cards, art concept, is for Fallen Angel, and she has these two gaping holes on her back where her wings were cut off. I also knew a friend who wanted to get something like this tattoed on his back.

So, I borrowed the idea =3, and drew this.

Testament is my favorite character from the Guilty Gear series, because he's so beautiful, so angsty, and just so powerful. He was my best character, and I used to beat much ass with him. (BTW, gamers, Sammy versus Capcom coming soon. More Testament!!!!!!!!)

I had a lot of fun coloring this, getting just the right shapes. I'm really proud of the sky and the bird, whatever her name is. I also think the wound, and slight bruising around it turned out nicely. And the smear of eyeliner running down his cheek.

Hell, I just love the whole thing.
