A long time, people have always stated how "giga can't interact" with this or that. The truth is simple, though, that yes, the larger a person would be, the less the normal people could interact "normally". But hey, what's wrong with defending the earth the old fashioned way, through sheer awesomeness?
Now, what's better, Bruce nuking the asteroid, or a simple flick of the wrist? Armageddon would be a much better movie this way, i think.

I agree with your opinion of Armageddon, we would all be more at ease to have a protectress like this. Maybe she could make the governments how insignificant the problems of the world could be if they just bound together, considering obviously higher life forms exist (if this comic held truth).
