Description
The Victorian interpretation for carnations in general is woman’s love or fascination. This meaning changes with the color of the petals.

- White carnations suggest pure love and good luck.
- Light red symbolizes admiration, while dark red represents deep love and affection.
- Pink carnations embody the sentiment that discusses "I'll never forget you", and are the symbol of a mother's undying love.
- Striped carnations signify a refusal, to say that you can’t be with someone or 'Wish I Could Be With You'. If paired with a solid-coloured carnation, it strongly expresses the feeling of regret.

Isolde, a backstory character to one of my OCs and whose story kills my heart yet is one of my favourites. Since I hinted on tumblr, here's a bit more on her. Other bits are scattered around DA somewhere

- The oldest of two children, she was born into a minor noble family.
- Ironically while frail in health and body, she had a gift in healing magic and was a proficient summoner.
- She fell in love with and married her brother's best friend, their only child was born shortly before her untimely death.
- Mystery still shrouds the events surrounding her passing, and her missing husband's circumstances are still unknown.
- Their daughter, Matilda , has been raised by her family since. figure out the father and you'll know who said husband is lol, massive hints everywhere so actually not hard fff /squints
