Description
This beautiful butterfly was lighting on my pansies and also on some of the other flowers on my front porch this morning. There was also a smaller bright yellow butterfly flitting about, but I could not catch him in a photo.Life is very good!!

Great shot!!! We didn't even have many butterflies this summer after our unbelievable winter and spring... only the migratory Monarchs and a few hardy survivors.

I like the clarity and vibrant colors very much. It looks as if the butterfly posed for a photo session, showing all its beauty in the best light .

Beautiful capture. I wish we had butterflies this time of year. I had a hawk in my yard today, but I didn't get my camera fast enough. I have had pansies in bloom in Dec. though.

It's good to see you happy, it's weird though to see sunny weather in december!
