It's more of a Process than a Tutorial but oh well...I just can't explain stuff I still hope this will help some people~I kinda wanted to re-make my old Pixel tutorial.....such an old thing //runs

When I was resizing it in Paint Tool Sai, it became all blurry and hard to see the sketch, any tips or help?

this is actually quite normal, you just need to reduce the opacity of the layer with the sketch, zoom in, create a new layer, and draw the lineart there
if it's too hard to see, maybe duplicate the sketch layer or use different colors in the sketch so you can see more details. hope this helps c:

Do you make palettes when choosing your colors? How many colors do you typically use for shading skin? ; v ;

I mostly just choose some random colors, but I try to change them a bit, like blue will get more purple-ish when it gets darker etc >w<

I'm in Colorado *still in America*...you'd think because it's in mountains, and gets snow, I wouldn't get sun burnt...but I did OTL...and yeah I gotcha, I'd rather be at home right now..the altitude is effecting my lungs

How do you make her eyes smaller without redrawing?

in the drawing or in the pixel?
with erasing, but the pixel one needs a special eraser to keep the edges sharp

well I have the eyes on a separate layer, so I just duplicate them and change them a bit until I have 4 frames or more because when you try to squish them with the transformation tool in sai they'll get ugly and blurry so changing the already existing eye would be better owo
