It's a tradition of sorts to start every photojournal of a trip with the very first photo I've taken, even if it usually isn't particularly spectacular. The reason?The first photo is the key that unlocks all the memories in my mind. It makes me feel like I am just stepping into the wonderful adventure over again. Like the journey has only begun.
I love that feeling so so much.
So this is the very first shot from the long-waited series of my trip to Norway in 2018, a whole year ago.
Yes, it took a long, loooong time to complete all the photos, but you'll see why. It was worth it.
P.S. There will be A LOT of Norwegian names this time.
The day after I arrived we went on the first little hike just up a little hill called Eidhaugen, only 113 m above sea level.
The day was gloomy and rainy, with a streak of golden sunlight here and there. Very autumnal. Just as I like it.
