thats frame is what makes this piece so interesting.
usually spirals are symmetric, or follow some sort of symmetry.. but the frames throws that off.. which is why this is outstanding!

Nice one Kat. This one sort of reminds me of some sort of medieval headdress. It's looks the kind of thing that would be painstakingly hand stitched using the finest materials. It's obviously harder for me to describe than to see. I like it though.
