Ultra FractalThis is my favorite again: Phoenix Julia from the Standard Folder
When I was starting this fractal, I saw a likeness to my favorite Japanese painting:
The Great Wave at Kanagawa by Katsushika Hokusai and tried to bring it out as much as possible...within reason, of course.

This was my entry for the One Fractal Summer contest 2006. It took third place.

This looks lovely in full view. The colour is beautiful. Lol I would love to see waves really look like that. So artistic and original and beautiful. My favorite thing about it is the brightness of it i think.

Nah...it's no big deal. I joined the group and they want you to add your images to their gallery. I can add three images a week and the ones you saw were my first adds.

This has to be one of the most beautiful UF's I've seen for a while. I love the subtle texture on the outer edges of the deep folds...and the way it looks as thought is is sparkling light back at you. Gorgious!!!
