What better way is there to show the citizens of Equestria that their precious princesses are no longer in control than to eclipse the sun with the moon. And to add insult to injury have the moon break apart in the ensuing celestial tug-o-war.

The newly reformed Infernal Darkness, now free from the magic inhibiting chest piece, resumes his ruthless quest to reclaim what was taken from him. Slowly tearing the world apart piece by piece he stops at nothing to find what he seeks. It is now up to Celestia to stop him, or atleast keep him occupied until the seventh and final shard of the eternal vessel is found. If Infernal gets hold of the seven shards, all is lost.
