You don’t listen to me!You wonder why I keep everything bottled up inside,
It’s because you will never be there for me!
You don’t listen to me!
I try to tell you what’s going on,
But instead the focus is on you.
It’s not about you...it’s about ME!
How can I make you realize the way you treat me?
You don’t listen to me!
You don’t care about how I feel.
You don’t care about ME!
You say that’s not true, but I don’t believe you!
You don’t listen to me!
Do you really want to know what’s bothering me?
So you can tell the world all my secrets?
Well fine...here it is... Sometimes I hate myself!
I feel like no one cares and that everyone hates me!
I feel that people only talk to me just to be nice.
But, I’m the one that’s responsible and dependable.
I’m the one that you and everyone else turns to when there’s a problem.
You don’t see me. You really don’t see ME!
You don’t listen to me!
Wake Up!!!!
Here I am!!
Listen to me please...just listen to me!!
I’ll tell you all my problems in detail.
I’ll tell you everything!!!
The problem is...YOU!

Yes, yes, I agree. This poem is bursting with emotions. Sometimes, my friends piss me off like that too. Feels good to vent, doesn't it?

It is sometimes extremely difficult to find an outlet to let others know how insensitive they are.
Sometimes a good shout out just like at the end opens up the conversation, by making them stop and think for a moment.
Always being the one to go to can have it's difficulties. Especially when it's your turn and no one you have close to you knows how to listen to you...

Very sad, but filled with anger too. Odd how saddness and anger can go hand in hand. just remember that maybe they feel the same way too sometimes? I dont know them, but I hope you dont stay sad, its no fun.
