that's a front and a second reason, we're there because we saw Saddam as a threat to our security, besides, our aim isn't o kill civilians, and we don't try to, like many communists did, or extreme right wingers also. It's unfortunate colatteral damage
and I didn't know freedom was a political view.. freedom is just choice, whatever you take that to be. And no, a lot of wars are fought for power, or in some cases self defense (like afghanistan after 9/11)
I'm not saying I agree with the Iraq war, I'm just making a point.

I put freedom in quotes for a reason. Freedom is a front for violent imperialism.
We are not a global police force and saddam was doing everything that those dictatoral regiems in latin amercia or africa were doing so why didn't do after them. we dont uproot countries just cause there leaders are bad dudes.
to refer to human life as unfortunate "colatteral damage" is so evil and arrogent. The kind of sick, inhuman, and mad man who would say that deserves no forgiveness from me nor the god almighty.
The war on "terror" is a religious war, WWII was a politacal war, The Cold War was a political war, the crusades were religious wars. Name a war and i can connect it to eaither politics or religion.
