Description
Again,This is the unnamed, unfortunate(fortunate?) girl from Flamekin2's 'Cybernetic Conversion'. The 3DCG setup that he used was based off of Phantasy Star Online's Robotic character, Eleanor Camuel.
I'm trying to edge the design toward something more advanced & futuristic, so I left her lower back 'Bows' off, and got rid of her metal 'dress' (as it would hinder mobility). I also figure the 'bracelets on her arms & legs would be more delicate.
I took a bit of design inspiration from the '86 Transformers character Arcee, a bit of the Bayformers design ethos, and, appropriately (considering Flamekin's story) the Borg.
The one-piece helmet seen here: [link]
looks cool but is NOT terribly futuristic for an advanced being...
I could picture the nanites forming structures up her spine, neck & back of her head, then erupting thru the changing skin.
As she convulses on the table, (half in pain, half in euphoria), this would be followed with the nanites rapidly assembling and extruding out her 'helmet's' panels...
If I get the time, I may try to replicate this helmet in 3D...

They have it where you can call up a listing of the smilies when you type here...kinda wish they'd do the same for the 'plz' series...make it easier to keep track of what's available.

Was trying to tie the 'hairs' feature in somewhere else, and since the breast covers weren't doing anything ATM...
I'd have her look at herself in silence briefly, and then go over to Adam(?) to calm him down...
Rather than the: "Oh, you CAN'T be my boyfriend...you're JUST a specimen." bit, I could see her caressing him ant telling him what an honor it IS to be changed like that...It feels SOO good to be upgraded...yadda yadda yadda...
She coaxes him onto the table, and shortly, Scientist 40 hits the juice...
Nobody told Adam that he'd become a FEMALE Gynoidian, tho!

No problem.
RL comes first, as much as we would wish otherwise...
I would just like to see him dealing with her and maybe a few Gynoidians down on Earth...just to see how much the Gynoidians can develop, personality-wise.
I want to believe that they are MORE than just robots, but maybe the humans could TEACH them some things that they CAN'T learn living aloofly on their spaceship.
HE probably keeps calling them 'walking toasters'(JUST to p!$$ them off)...And they keep telling him that they are NOT just simple machines.
Both sides have 'ammo' to prove their point, to some degree.
I CAN see a quiet, 'geeky/nerdy' Gynoidian studying nature...and meeting up with a local human nerd who is interested in the same things. (Since the G's would be wearing the 'fake skin', the human geek wouldn't know that his new BFF isn't exactly human. She's reluctant to TELL him, either...or to bring him up for conversion...)
I can picture their cranial domes made out of a delicate, high-efficiency shaped set of interlocking crystal shards...This is the reason for the helmets...protection.
The girl victim ('Ellie'?) finds out that the domes are also...sensitive.
She gives Adam a chance to 'end' her with a punch there, but he doesn't do it. He is fascinated by the light show, and brushes his fingers over her head...and is rather surprised by her response!
I'm picturing their Queen as a little girl who's a study in blacks & reds & is quite scary looking...(maybe somewhat Alien/Gigeresque and maybe she has the 'taloned' helmet here.) She wants to play hooky from being in charge, and Adam gives her the opening, when he hides from Scientist 40 in her office/room. She's lonely but doesn't know how to put it in words...she's been pushing the feelings aside for so long, so she can concentrate on keeping her people alive...
MORE brain droppings... *sigh*

I've been goofing around with DAZ's 'BelBel' & 'ChibiBel'...
So has Kamon72...
We're collaborating and putting together a version of the Queen, as well as Ellie, Adam (Now Alexis) and Scientist 4076.
He's got renders up in his scraps HERE: [link]
Kinda cool looking!
I'm working on re-creating Alexis as the 'hooker', from Flamekin's story. 0_0
This one, I'm gonna vector HOPEFULLY next week.
I'm ALMOST there, but don't have all the parts JUST yet...
How goes it with you?

This may be a matter of opinion, but her legs taper way too much at the knee. They need more muscle or mass or something.
Other than that...sexy.

it could just be your style. You do that with nearly every character.
I always draw legs either too long or too beefy .

laughingvulcan In reply to Internet-Cancer [2012-03-18 23:22:39 +0000 UTC]
Hm. Maybe.
I'm still not where I want to be on anatomy, so I may just pull a DPR and do a few body part sketches to try to lock things in better...
I can see the 'beefy' with Maria Bathory, Prof, but the legs on 'Death Wears White' look damn good to me.
(Then again, she looks like a model, so the long legs work that way. If it were a guy w/long legs it might look more 'off', tho.)

Internet-Cancer In reply to laughingvulcan [2012-03-19 01:52:01 +0000 UTC]
The beefy legs are a bit of an homage to my beginning style, where the legs on my characters were as wide as their torsos. In fact there is one character whose hips are nearly twice as wide as her shoulders. But Maria Bathory is supposed to be the bastard child of Count Dracula and Elizabeth Bathory. Count Dracula was known for possessing a huge amount of brute strength, so he gave Maria a lot of muscle.
As for Emily Crow/Caedo, she's a "Mechanesian" a sort of techno-organic organism, who is death incarnate and possessing a bunch of cool powers. She has no real need for muscle when her techno-organic body can pack much more power into those muscles than natural muscles could handle.
I disagree with the long legs on males, however. The long and lanky look can work. You're thinking of giving a guy feminine curves.
