Description A place for gesture, a home for words
the human hand can sometimes be.
But if one allows it to afford,
one will find its complexity.
Its knack for being understood
when words utterly fail.
If thoughts won’t come out as they should
a simple motion can prevail.
Twining of fingers to form a vine
is all a person can sometimes need.
To share the weight of a world unkind
another soul to stay and heed.
Too much for one to face alone
is oft enough for two to own.
To share the thoughts of worthy aims
is the love the mind  proclaims.
