Version 2 is now up! I can't believe how big a hit this was 0.0-----
Totally totally opinion based.
The idea behind it: There's a yaoi section of DBZ land, and there's the neutral section. There are several main artists you may pass through and visit while in DBZ land. In order to enter DBZ land, you may optionally take the "DA Highway", which passes through *bri-chan land, *Risachantag land, *AnnouncerGuy land, and ends the borders with *allymcbeal18 land, or you may enter through the "GV" highway which connects to either BV South or DA-West.
On the borders of the DBZ highway, you have Naruto land (Just beyond the Hidden Leaf forest), Square-Enix land (just beyond the mountain range), and/or you may exit completely and go through other general cartoons, including Disney, etc, so you'll have to take DA-North through Bri-chan land.
Other animes are located to the south, though you'll have to take a ship across the river.
This idea has been sitting in my mind for some time now, and I felt the urge to make this tonight just for kicks. If somehow you may find your name located by someone whom you're not particularly friendly with or something, I'm sorry
I don't know a lot of your friendships and acquaintanceships. This is totally a 100% egocentric view of DA, with absolutely zero research put into it.It's totally meant just for humor's sake ^^ I often compare the DBZ corner of DA to a map, and that's pretty much the inspiration I had to do this.

Another note: If you would like to be moved, and/or you've been left out and have a particular place on the map you'd like to be, don't feel afraid to comment, and I'll change it. I totally don't mean ANY offense or anything by this pic, and I'll do my best to accomodate you ^^

And yes, I always call the DBZ community the "DBZ corner of DA", and I actually DO think of it as a sort of map...

Not too late. I'm going to work on it next Friday after I finish my last midterm, so I'll put you a little farther down the mountains if you like. I only went by the assumption that you're friends with nekoni, and/or I associated you with being friends with nekoni, so I placed you kinda between allyland and yaoiland

I should be ten million bzzillion katrillion miles AWAY from yaoiland.. but then I would'nt be on the map! XD;; (or on DA even :B ) So I have to try and ignore the y-wordness and stick around for the cool DBZ art and such B3 .. and to hang out with fello VB peoples B3 .. Cool.

Gee, thanks for putting me on this warped little map of yours. I'm trying to decide whether to demand removal, or just laugh at you, it's a really hard choice.
=/ You do realise that this is rather inaccurate, right? You've missed quite a few people from this...=overlordofthepies and ~XxChiChixX (GV yaoi section) to name a few XD Though...you DID put someone next to a sign that they hate, so, whatever, and at least I'm not near gege-mun, I suppose.
Overall, I'm unimpressed at your lack of knowledge(you can't even write my dA nickname properly, it seems, either that or you were incredibly lazy) and amused that you have nothing better to do than make incorrect maps.
Though you were probably hoping for an angry response, or yelling at you or whatever. *shrugs* Waste your time and post mistakes all you want.

After reading that nice little paragraph underneath the picture, it was noted that the artist did not know all the acquaintances and whatnot and made a point to apologize in advance for any mistakes.
You seemed quiet rude in your response to her, telling her how unimpressed your with her knowledge and calling her lazy. That was quite uncalled for. I'm sure that if someone left you such a response, there would be a 5+ page journal written about it to get everyone riled up. I'm also sure Nekoni would follow suit (beware everyone; your local government is coming to arrest you because of a flame war on a seemly kiddie DBZ art page!)
The artist asked that people simply request to have changes made. She freely admitted and acknowledged that changes would probably be necessary, so there really was no reason for the condescending tone of your post. I don't understand why you simply couldn't have asked politely to have your name fixed and the other artists added.
Also, in response to what you said about Ally's post not making any sense, I took a peek at her page and it appears that English is not her first language (Ally, I sincerely apologize if that is incorrect). It doesn't seem very fair, or nice, to call her out on that.
To the lauraneato: This is really interesting! The DBZ Corner of DA can be quite a confusing and, at times, scary place. This would make a nice, helpful map.

ROFL I would have to put you everywhere at once. I considered putting you smack in the middle, esp. since I made you the capitol of the map, but it would have made you seem like a pure, hardcore 100% Dragonball Z fan, surrounded by the masses, and I figured the best spot (since you are only one mountain range away, you know, if you head east!) would be closer to Konoha... esp since you're the reason I ever got into Naruto (I had never heard of Naruto before seeing your fan art of the series when I first joined DA). Though if you prefer, if I make a version 2, I'll put you smack in between Square Enix and Konoha, and dead center in the middle of DBZ XDDDDD

ROFL you can KINDA see it... if you look REAAAAL hard on the bottom left, you'll see blue. That's actually the shore line. You DO happen to live on the coast, ya know XDDDDDD It's just that it got cropped out. So in the end, I guess it's a pretty odd location : P
