Third spread in a new altered book, The Spectator.---
The image on the left is a print of an artist's trading card that I made a long time ago. The right page has an image printed on clear acetate and is backed with mica--the page flips to cover (but not obscure) both the images in front of it and behind it.

Hey, thanks. I have been leaning toward altering another book...but there's so much prep work involved! It's more like an Autumn deal, accompanied by cocoa and a blazing fire!

Beauty is often rescued by perception and reclaimed after being discarded or ignored. Often this beauty has been shattered or fragmented and no longer exists in the form it once had, so these pieces call out to each other waiting to be brought back to life...once restored their past fades away and new stories are written.

healing takes many forms...but you have to want the healing to begin with

know that from personal experience...some things take longer to heal because other people keep bringing up the events in question and picking at the scars until they see pain...then act surprised by your reaction
