Now this is how he's described in the books. Rowling goes out her way to make sure fans knew that Firenze was georous. she used the superficial and gossip girls, Lavender and Parvarti to say he's really handsome and sigh a lot like love sick girls. There is no way that could happen in the movies with how they made it look as if human torso was covoered in fur and a wide nose thats similar to aliens in Avatar.
