Description I have some pics of Cebu from my trip to the Philippines a while back. Coming from the city, I always thought the way the concrete & metal in the provincial houses looked odd next to the big ole tropical trees and plants (which I barely saw in Manila I guess).

Is that glass in the concrete wall? I've seen people do that in Italy. Nice work! Though it doesn't look like a place you'd wanna be caught in after dark. *has been watching X-Files seasons 1 and 2*

No, not really. Haha, that's just an unfinished open window and really just means I'm too lazy to dress it up.

And yeah, places like these would be really quite dark at night.

They have those in Brazil as well. Usualy..they are pieces of glass.

Oh haha, yes! It's a cheap way of deterring burglars from climbing up your walls. It's fairly common in the Philippines.
