Okay. Well, this is based on D&D, where either gender can be of the wizard class. Also, what is written above is the theory of one cultural group. There are vast differences around the world in other regions and cultures.

It all depends on what you subscribe to, and what culture you're talking about. This is based on D&D which allows either gender to be a wizard.

Actually, in D&D a female wizard is just that, a wizard who is female.
Sorcerers are people who are born with the ability to use magic, instead of hard work and study. A sorcerer knows a lot less spells than a wizard, and their spells are intuitive instead of logical. Though they don't need to prepare their spells beforehand and can cast more spells.
A wizard is like a music composer, calculating and in control. While a sorcerer is like a Death Metal singer, they let everything out, without much thought it it.
