Might the animation look less stiff if you speed it up a bit

i think it looks stiff because i use fewer layers than it should have
but the icon size will be too big to be used as avatar so i had to remove some layers

You mostly need three layers for every simple move (like eyes or mouth) to make it look smooth. You did great with the first blink, it needs to just speed up a bit.
your file still too small to fit for an icon, yours is 8kb where da icons needs to be 14kb for most, so you still can add more few frames to it

all of my icons are about 8-12 kb
but if the characters's design is complicated,
it'll be bigger so i don't add too much layers just in case
