I was pretty happy when I saw that I got wing seat, because last time I got it I was underage and they had to move me away from the emergency exit. And then I took this picture and realised that I have one more thing to be happy about

Hoo The colours are so impressive, so intense! did you use any polarizer?
π: 0 β©: 1
lazy-lizzard In reply to superjuju29 [2005-12-07 13:12:20 +0000 UTC]
Thanks! I did not use polariser, sky really had that kind of gradient

superjuju29 In reply to lazy-lizzard [2005-12-07 18:21:21 +0000 UTC]

wow.. that is so impressive.. is the sky highly processed?? Congrats on the result!
π: 0 β©: 1
lazy-lizzard In reply to nikosalpha [2005-12-07 13:10:27 +0000 UTC]
Sky is almost not processed at all - I just sligtly changed levels. As mentioned before, it was early morning so the sun was pretty low and I suppose that it created that 'fade' effect
Thank you!

another super cool image, its so solid, how did you cut-out the haze?
Also love your description as a list of ingredients LOL

lazy-lizzard In reply to photo-insight [2005-12-06 12:21:41 +0000 UTC]
I am not sure that I understand what do you mean by cuting out the haze? There was not any haze above the clouds
Glad you like the ingredient list! I do not like giving description because I should express myself trough the photography, but this was a moment of inspiration

photo-insight In reply to lazy-lizzard [2005-12-06 12:45:03 +0000 UTC]
Sorry just thought it might have been hazy up there, I have never made an image out of a plane window before.
I like your thoughts on descriptions, I have written something about that in my devious comments section

No, it wasn't It can be sometimes, but this was winter, clouds were pretty low and above them it was really clear.

lazy-lizzard In reply to mace-windu [2005-12-04 17:32:10 +0000 UTC]
Thanks!
I did not use polarising filter, sky was just like that. It was early morning [6am], so the sun was still very low

Oh, how this makes me want to go flying again The deep blue is... amazing and just breathtaking really. Outstanding how you've captured it so wonderful, and the quality is superb. Love the inclusion of the wing, adds excellent perspective

Thanks! I think that best photos are spontaneous ones... and this one was made 10 seconds after I looked through the window
P.S. I dont know why did you stop flying, but I definitely think that you shoud reconsider that decision

You're welcome I completely agree, it's those small moments we recognize something and scramble for our cameras
I wish I could fly more but tis a costly procedure, and my money tree has yet to grow the way I would like
